Beech. I wouldn't buy them. It's next to impossible to restore and kind of underwhelming compared to teak, oak or rosewood. Certainly not at that price point.
They look legit to me but yeah, what ossrk said about the wood species and restoration. And the price point. I see another pair sold for around that price (?!) on ebay recently but they had new fabric and were at least refinished. I'd keep looking if I were you.
