Just purchased an oak chair with tapered stretchers very much in the manner of Finn Juhl. Makers mark says Bornhom MobelFabrik. Cant find any images of chairs produced by this company. I have included photos below.
Stylististically chair would seem to date from 40's/50's but would like to establish more closely period of manufacture and designer. Any help greatly appreciated

Leif,
the SW-96 you referenced I have also seen designated as BO96....which I was speculating might suggest some form of collaboration between Bornholms and Soren Willadsen and/or Finn Juhl and Johannes Sorth. Do you know of any acknowledged expert on Finn Juhl who have insights into whether such collaborations occurred?
Also wondering if my chair might potentially be an important piece....at least from an historical perspective and if so if you have any thoughts on if there is a natural place where is should reside? Any further thoughts and insights would be valued
Some Finn Juhl pieces were made by different producers, indeed. But here we have a clear case of a chair "inspired by"..Bornholm was one of the many very small furniture companies that mainly or solely produced designs by the owner themselves. And since the owners mostly were cabinetmakers and not architects, they often would take successfull models from other companies as a source of inspiration. Compare the sideboards from NC M

@herringbone: That set sold by Wright is indeed the design I am referring to. Wright is simply wrong that they are Bovirke. This is an old mistake that goes back to the Finn Juhl Memorial exhibition in the 1980s. In the catalog the SW-96 dining chair is captioned with: "Bovirke?." Note the '?'. The design was made by S
@herringbone I am not sure that you can see the model numbers on those ads posted here as they were resized down. You can look me up at instagram and see a post I recently did on just this topic: https://www.instagram.com/movablemodern/
I was going to mention, it's funny Herringbone asked that, re: SW-96 because you just posted about it on Instagram a week or two ago, but firstly I felt like I reference Instagram too much on here and secondly I didn't want to post the answer because I only know it from you, Leif and only as of a week ago or so!
