Hello,
I found a Noguchi (style?) table that I am trying to authenticate. The base has been stripped. I bought it that way. I want to have it professionally finished if it's real. The top measures 49 inches by 35 1/4. The glass is green tinted and is 3/4 inches thick. It's 15 3/4 tall including the glass. The wood is 1 3/4 inches thick. The pin is steel, not aluminum.
Thanks in advance,
Emily

Hi Emily.
I'd say that you have a genuine knock-off Noguchi table.
The glass is the wrong size, and the wood sculpture appears slightly off in certain spots, plus it lacks the refinement that Herman Miller pieces are known for, here and abroad*...and in heaven.
But I'm usually wrong.
Best,
Aunt Mark
