need help identifying the design of this chair  

Hi all,

I've become interested in contemporary style furniture. My neighbor who used to work for Steelcase has introduced me to the style. I received 2 chairs that are what I think are described as sectional floor chairs. I can't find a label on them and after looking at the bottom closely, I have realized that they used to be a deep butterscotch color. The original owner who bought them in the 70's and who lived in England at the time can't remember where she got them. Is this style called the scoop and does anyone recognize them as being attributed to a designer. Any feedback is helpful. Thank you
