Fell in love with the grain. However can’t seems to find this design online. Has a VM stamp underneath. Not sure if is design by Kia Kristiansen for Vildbjerg Mobelfabrik, as I can’t find any info or catalog on it.
much appreciate for the experts info sharing here.
@vintagevin It’s Vildbjerg. Good chance that it’s also Kai. He drew a lot for Vildbjerg. At times exclusively.

@herringbone Thanks! Yup was hoping to be able to come across some of the drawings or catalog. But my search so far to no avail.
Not many images of this bench on the web. Did find one which appears to be the same as yours but as you only posted one image it is hard to tell if it is the same one.( see image below) Seller states there is a Vildbjerg stamp, but does not show it.
Some information that you might find interesting. A thread from 2016.
I copied and pasted this reply from @vildbjerg-lkj
"The Jørgensen family has run Vildbjerg Møbelfabrik since 1942, where the cabinetmaker Aksel Jørgensen took over the factory after his mentor Anker Larsen. In 1950 a new factory was built and over years expanded continuously. The production included exclusive furniture’s mostly for export. A coffee table with a patented lift system so that it also could be used as a dining table was among the most popular models. Niels Ove Jørgensen took over the factory in 1978. The range of product got extended and new production facilities were built in 1988. The company was sold in 1996. From 1958 to 1996 Kai Kristiansen has designed nearly all the furniture’s for Vildbjerg Møbelfabrik.
My grandfather was Aksel Jørgensen. I have known Kai Kristiansen as long as I can remember. I meet him last time in spring 2015.
The nesting tables that you are discussing are all from Vildbjerg Møbelsfabrik and designed by Kai Kristiansen. The model number for the small one has number 133 and the bigger one have number 134.
I have many catalogues as evidence for the connection between Kai Kristiansen and Vildbjerg Møbelfabrik.
Please look at the attached photos.
You are welcome to contact me, if you want to know more about furniture from Vildbjerg Møbelfabrik designed by Kai Kristiansen. I have documentation for all models in the period from 1958 to 1996."

The person who posted this also mentioned he had catalogues. Unfortunately he only posted one general image of the collection and did not share any more .( If you read the thread you will understand why!!! )
Sorry @vintagevin; I do not mean to hijack this thread , but it seems as good a time as any to post this info 🤔 .
Further snooping/research.
I found the same person on the Vildbjerg mobelfabrik facebook page. I know @herringbone, you are currently researching Kai Kristiansen , so maybe you might be interested in making contact via that page? 4th post by *****; same initials as above. LKJ. Still lives in Vildbjerg.

Knowledge shared is Knowledge gained
@lexi I have already contacted him two or three years ago. He was very helpful then and he might be very helpful now. I could try and ask him if he knows something about this bench.

Thanks @lexi and @herringbone!
@herringbone if you are reaching out to him, then I won’t be initiating. Do not want to bother him with a double enquiry on the same subject.
Thanks in advance!
@vintagevin I‘ll send him a mail.

@vintagevin, @lexi Ha. The answer came quicker than I could have hoped. It is Kai Kristiansen. But it’s not a bench. It’s the biggest of three nesting tables which also could be bought as single tables. Model number was VM 154. Here’s a catalog page from 1966.

Thank you so much @herringbone!
It does really seems similar to the catalog. However the bench/table does have this horizontal wood piece on both side. Which actually looks like what @lexi had posted. So I’m not sure with that, can it still be a nesting table.
Measurements seems about right, what I gotten is around 99cm X 35cm, H:45cm
@vintagevin - I suppose that this is the version that would have been sold as single table. But if you want to be sure, I can ask again.

Thanks @lexi and @herringbone!
yes please @herringbone, if you can check with him on that it will be great. Much appreciated.
