Hi all, I bought this chair recently and am trying to figure out if it's "anything" special. It's really heavyweight and the metal work is nicely done, but the fact that the chair itself is faux leather, rather than real leather is making me lean towards the notion this is a copy of another chair. The support strapping is real leather and the connections are well detailed. I thought Maurice Burke for Pozza or John Mascheroni because of the tubular chrome, but have ruled them out. There's a high back Milo Baughman recliner, but it has curved chrome arm rests, and actually, so many of the late 1970s/early 1980s chairs are curved. I think this one is 1980s era, but really nicely built.
Measurements:
36.25"w
32.25"d
29"tall
16.5" seat height
23" arm height
Anyways, any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!
