Hi All,

A couple of years ago someone was nice enough to ID furniture that I purchased from a friend.  Unfortunately her parents are getting older and her daughter is not interested in the remaining items so she has given me the option to purchase.  She is beyond kind.

Previously someone had labeled some of the furniture as purchased by or at France & Son's, and the name Povl Dinesen.  A couple of other items(step stools and a rocking chair) were Finn Juhl.

Any help with these would be very kind.  Thank you.

The chairs are Erik Buch, the sideboard is Arne Vodder for Sibast. Congrats for the latter.

Thank you everyone.  Any idea on the table?

Can you post more photos of the table? The search is not so easy if there are hardly any details to look for.  And have you been able to check the underside for a maker's mark?

Unfortunately I do not have access at the moment.

All of the furniture I have(from them) and the remaining pieces were purchased in the late 1950's from Povl Dinesen and/or France & Son's I believe.

The top cabinet is not Vodder. These pieces were sold by Povl Dinesen as a complement.

The table is tricky, as I wrote before. Could it be this one?

That table certainly looks similar.  Who is the designer of it?

It is Finn Juhl for France and Søn.

Which would make sense if all those pieces were purchased at Povl Dinesen‘s shop as you assume. Dinesen was a retailer of France & Søn‘s furniture, he sold other stuff as well and at least up to a certain time he also produced his own furniture. The Juhl table is the only one I find in his program that looks like yours.
