yeah, that stamp does not match anything in my maker's mark file, not that it is exhaustive by any means.

Those hinges and three screws remind me of the fixings on his famous oriental inspired cabinet, with the wonderful brass circular pulls. Who manufactured that?

Hey Kyle, I'm not familiar with the cabinet but after looking it up I think P.Lauritsen & Son produced it? That's if I am looking at the right cabinet.

The stamp is definitely a mystery. I think I can make out the letters A_ST_AMO__ .....which means nothing to me, haha!

The measurements of the table are the same as the Mogensen for Soborg examples on the furniture index. Was it possible/legal to make copies of someones designs, using the same measurements etc?

Here's a couple more pics of the table put together and hardware that attaches the legs.

Thanks Dr. Poulet! I think I've looked at pretty much every example of this table that I can find online and it certainly looks to be the Mogensen table : ) Thanks for taking the time to look as well, I appreciate it, big time!

Here is the "MADE IN DENMARK" stamp from my table if you were curious and another example of a label for your collection Zephyr!

And another one for your collection Zephyr. I believe this one from the late 60s. It was on a Mogensen nightstand I had.

Oh and I almost forgot. I have a chest of drawers by Mogensen for S

Hi Ponyboy.

Indeed, this chair is not by Mogensen and not produced by FDB. It was made by Farstrup and the design is by Thomas Harlev. Name of the model is #181 and is still under production

The reason for the confusion is that it may appear pretty close to the J52G Rocking chair designed by Mogensen for FDB. Still in production too.

Thanks Dr. Poulet! I saw the similarities with the J52G rocking chair and assumed it was a case of it being close enough for someone. After that everyone probably just followed the leader. Thanks for your help!

What? I thought that when 25 dealers all say the same thing online that means it is true....
