My parents acquired these in California in the late 1950's or early 60's, they are stamped on the bottom of the seat "Mogens Kold" I have not been able identify these, can someone help, thanks in advance.

Interesting. I was not previously aware that MK made bar stools. Arne Hovmand Olsen designed a lot of furniture for MK, so there is a good chance he designed your stools.
I believe the MK ink stamp preceded the round metal medallion chronologically. So my best guess for dates would be mid to late 50's.
@matthew-w. Cannot help you with designer but did find these dining chairs on IG. Same back rest, seat, stretchers , just shorter legs!
@cdsilva. The seats on IG had this label. Thought you might be interested.

"CD" thank you for your response, I too had thought that Olsen might be behind the design as well, and the example you provide is just more validation for believing that. I have also not seen another example of the Bar Stool height chairs and wonder if they were made as samples.
Thank you again,
Matt
