Milo Baughman/Thayer Coggin chairs or not?

I have two similar chairs that were my grandmother's. the older looking chair has a tag but no info filled in for Sold By or Date. The other chair has no tag I can find. Help with some identification would be appreciated. One chair looks like a chair I found that said it was MB/TC.

I believe the law label indicates that the maker was in the state of New York, not North Carolina. So not Thayer Coggin. And I don't think they look anything like MB pieces, but that is my personal opinion.

Thank you. The label was from the chair with the padding on the arms. No label for the other which looked like one I found online stating it was possibly MB. Just thought I'd get some honest opinions. Thank you for your help.

I contacted Thayer Coggin and they reviewed the 2nd chair. While the upholstery looks like Milo Baughman the arms are not his design. So Leif's personal opinion was a good one. Now I'm left with no road to follow. Does anyone else have any information or intuition on these? Thanks.
