Hi Rob, welcome to DA Forum!
While your table appears useful and in good condition, I'm not seeing anything about its design or construction that might distinguish it as special or particularly sought after. Keeping this in mind, there's nothing especially wrong with it, either! Any perceived value would be sentimental and/or utilitarian in nature, IMO.
Hi
Many thanks for coming back to me. Yes, it is a pretty standard mid century veneer table. I was hoping that the unusual leaf mechanism might identify it.
Thanks again,
Hi @Robw
Here in the UK (where I'm guessing you also are) these tables with the locking mechanism are very common. I've not had many myself, so have never had the opportunity to look underneath many for a makers mark. I did restore and sell one though (no makers mark though), and I do remember the locking mechanism being very satisfying to use!
If I were to hazard a complete guess at the maker it would be the likes of Beautility, Austinsuite, or early Nathan.
