Can anyone help I'd this chair please? Just purchased this low back and a matching high back winged chair from a family who said they had owned them for years originally purchased second hand from an auction house in NZ. Looks like very thick buffalo leather with a few bumps and bruises. Just revived with soap and balm to feed the leather.

Any help would be great. Thanks Dave

Looks like Borge Mogensen's 2207 chair but with a slightly different construction and legs. Nice chair.

Thank you for that, appreciated. very very similar but the legs and button/patched upholstery are a question. might they be a vintage 'version' of Mogensen's design? cheers ..

I'll check in Grete Jalk's book. Theoretically it could be an early version made by Erhard Rasmussen für the Guild exhibition but I don't know how likely that is.

Thank you for that, I do appreciate it. I'll try to get a photo of the other chair with the high back and wings which is coming back from the leather getting revived. Cheers Dave

Seems to be "inspired by" Mogensen. The highback is also very similar to the respective Mogensen design for Fredericia.

@dcnz I just found some chairs by Kai Lyngfeldt Larsen for Soeren Willadsen. Not yours but also very similar construction. Thought I'd let you know.
