This lamp base is in my possesion for sometime and I decided to finally find out who the artist is. In my search I came across Bitossi, Aldo Bondi, Flavia Montelupo. But the texture is not rough but smooth. Both didn't use 'faces'. The colours are correct (Rimini) but no embossed figures. Bellini? or the 'faces' of 'Desimone'??
It is signed handpainted 'ITALY'. Nothing more.
