Hiya

Does this Eames Lounge and ottoman look authentic? Thanks in advance!

Thanks, I didn't think so but just wondering what was the tell tale sign?

Too many to list on that one.

Spend a few minutes browsing images of authentic examples and some will become obvious.

The one 'tell' which gets me on literally every single reproduction I've ever seen, even the good ones.

For some reason they all stain the edge of the plywood. On the Vitra and Herman Miller ones, the exposed edge of the plywood is not stained or finished.

I am also fairly certain no authentic or licensed Eames Lounge chairs have ever produced the stool with 5 spokes. And I would say the proportions are a bit off on this one.
