I saw this chair and it looks like a mix of styles. The end of the armrests are well rounded. maybe an exotic wood. Cheers

It does not look like afrormosia to me. Patinaed afrormosia is dark brown, like a black walnut, but without as much grain patterning.  The leather appears to be natural vegetable tanned, which unfortunately acquired some heavy water stains over its life.

I'd be intersted in seeing more photos of the chair.

I agree with @cdsilva in the interest in seeing more photos.

It's not a great picture, but the nearest armrest looks oak like potentially.

the squared legs are somehow not fitting with the rounded armrests. Nevertheless, the materials used are interesting. I don't like the visible nails on leather.

I like everything about that chair. I don’t know what wood it is though, but afrormosia it is not.

Yep, I agree it could also be elm, elm can look a lot like oak and especially if finished to obscure texture the two can look very similar.

But those back leg shots dont particularly look like oak or elm. Really not sure.

Some up close shots would be nice.
