Hi,
I'm trying to identify the pictured recliner. It's been in my family since the mid-to-late 1960's. I can't find any tags or identifying marks that would indicate the manufacturer. It was reupholstered once many years ago and is obviously in need again! I'm thinking the tags were removed at that time.
It looks very much like the recliners listed as "Milo Baughman 74" on many websites.
Is there any way to know for sure that it is a Milo Baughman?
Thanks,
Dave
I'm checking it against my model 74 right now. Everything looks correct to me. On the advice of the company that made mine, "these models were made of either elm or walnut". There should also be two wooden plugs atop the legs on each arm. Close-ups of the wood would help with these determinations. If you need any comparative photos, just let me know.
