Inherited this great chair.

Guessing it's from the 70's-80's.

Completely spring supported.

The chair portion just lifts right off off the base.

Does anyone have any info about this piece?

Thanks...

It's a really famous chaise manufactured by Le Corbusier, the LC4 I believe. That is, if it is genuine. As it is extremely popular there's plenty of knockoffs.

It is an LC4, which was actually designed in 1928. I have seen dozens of these over that past years, but have yet to see one that is genuine; as Kyle said these are very frequently copied.

If you google it, there are a number of sites that address how to tell if it is a real Cassina produced version. There is also a few threads on here on the topic as well, I believe. If you still have difficulty telling, there are numerous talents on this site that could probably help further.
