My aunt bought, and still loves, two chairs while in Copenhagen in 1960. There’s a metal plate from Illums Bolighus Kobenhavn. I’m wondering if the designer can be identified. Also type of wood. Any info on these appreciated.

This is Ib Kofod-Larsens "Samsoe"-chair, made in Sweden by Olof Perssons Fatoljindustri. It's made of rosewood. Illums Bolighus sold it and therefore put their tag on it. A practice that was pretty common earlier on but stopped later in the 60s.
Very nice chair by the way.
