Hello, Could someone anyone please help me identify this dinning table wood type. I think it could be teak but just a guess. Thank you Jude

Close-up look (aren't our new photos great !) says Agathis or Rubberwood -- believe it or not. But it's probably just a light flitch of teak . . .

Wood is almost synonymous for a home so it is important that you know what solid wood furniture to buy before taking the plunge to avoid making the wrong choice.
Choosing the wrong wood can cause you to end up with less durable wooden furniture or flooring that needs re-touching often.
