identification of mid century pepper mills designer/manufacturer (specific to grinding mechanism)  

i've come across several mills that exude the appearance of a mid century danish manufacture/design, but the grinding mechanism is uniquely unfamiliar and inconsistent. my guess is that it is newer (80's on) and likely US made even. But i'm curious if anyone has knowledge of its origin. I've seen probably 5-6 different teak peppermills that share the exact same mill design on the bottom of the peppermill (plastic ring with a mesh type of center -- as pictured here). Thanks!
