Hi there,
A few months ago I bought this chair at an online marketplace. The chair is in need of restoration. The shock mounts are all dried out and there's a crack in the fineer at the place the shock mount was glued to the backrest. In order to get the replacements parts, I want to determine the age and generation of this DCM. I've already read some things about identifying DCM's at modernconscience.com. But the examples that are shown here don't match my DCM.
My DCM has got the following details:
- Upright position (see picture were this DCM is located in front of an modern Vitra 2006 version)
- Thick Shockmounts with the Herman Miller logo stamped on them
- Thick screws
- Black Swivel Floor Glides
- Black Herman Miller logo with rounded corners, and silver typography
- Solid metal frame
Could It be an early European manufactured Herman Miller DCM?
Thanks,
