ID help with Kagan / Pearsall styled solid sculpted walnut rocker.  

Picked up this well made solid wood rocker a little while ago. While it gets reupholstered looking into who could have made it / where it came from. Presumably its an American piece if you study the made and materials. Outstanding work and make but no signs of a maker anywhere. some small guide marks made in pencils but no other markings. Don't see much out there in this quality and construction style. any thoughts on the age as well as a designer / manufacturer is appreciated.
