Hi, does anyone know who designed this piece?

The tabletop is massive oak.

(Interesting to note that some pictures are posting normally and others are not. At the moment the ads placed to the right of this thread are also not showing their pics.)

Interesting desk. The "drooping" corners are unusual, aren't they . . .

Perhaps someone flipped the top due to damage on the right side. Just a thought!

I find this desk interesting, but I've been hoping to see the rest of the images. All I can see are the initial post of images.

It would be nice to see some details of the drawer sides, the underside of the desk, hardware, etc. It might help narrow down the country of origin.

Is the top really sold oak? (A photo of the end grain edge of the top would confirm this). And if so, how did the maker deal with wood movement. Oak moves a lot, so there has to be some provision for it since it is still standing today.
