Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'd like to figure out if these are quality knockoffs or were made by well-known manufacturer such as Thonet or Knoll. There is no labeling, stamping, "made in..." or branding marks.
Condition: These were covered in a good bit of dust with normal wear on arms and legs from years of use. Cane shows signs of wear but has no tearing.
Details to note:
-Welded / seamless steel caps on end of arms
-Detailed joinery
-Very defined natural slope on the front of the chair seat with additional joinery
-Consistency in the diameter of the tubing
-Heavy
Thanks again to anyone who has any advice or info!

Well, you've pointed out the quality, they're sure not cheap chairs. With the flat termination of the arms, refinement of the seat, and other quality features you've noted, I'd consider them 'real' enough. With the ubiquity of the style, it'll probably be tough to get more precise than that.
I think the arms are the quick tell on this tubular stuff though, aren't they? That and sheer mass.
Objectworship, I appreciate the feedback! Great things to hear. I wasn't too sure if there was anything additional to look for, but I guess not. "'Real' enough" sounds good to me, although I would love some way to identify the manufacturer to cure my own curiosity.
Minimoma, thank you also for the feedback. Someone mentioned that possibility to me, but I'm glad to know that's not the case.
Just chiming in, I found one of these on the street and had it refinished and caned. When they removed the armrests, we found that it was incised MADE IN ITALY underneath.
Now I believe that GAVINA manufactured these in Italy for KNOLL -- so that's an interesting detail you might discover.
jscooke415 images shows all the correct details of an authentic Breuer Cesca chairs, anything that does not are knockoffs, even examples marked made in italy. Unfortunately, the look alikes and all the bad knockoffs are the ones that made this design ubiquitous.
