I purchased a bunch of furniture today from an amazing mid century house that was built in 1949. Most of the original furniture was actually still in the house. I purchased a Jens Risom designed Knoll "Slipper" lounge chair and a very interesting side table that was next to it. I also got an original photograph of the same chair and table in the living room of the house back in 1949. I have never seen this table before so I have no idea who designed or made it. It has whats left of the original makers decal underneath, but that is all I have other than the photograph of it in the house when it was new. Any help identifying this table would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Hans Bellman for Knoll. It seems there was one 24" diameter and one 36" diameter. In the 1950 catalog.

...and the Kurt Versen lamps and what looks like the George Nelson basic cabinet series (wall mounted without the usual legs or benches). The piano could be an upright Steinway (?).

Did you take a photo of the house exterior?

Heck,

the piano is a spinet...and I'm kinda thinking either Baldwin (magnificent older.. but now made in China..) or a Wurlitzer.

Heck, Aunt Mark

I got some great pieces from the house. Its actually a somewhat famous house. The family of the original designer/owner just recently sold the house and I was lucky enough to get in and buy some amazing pieces. Thanks very much for the identification!
