@tomw. I am stumped on this one too. Nothing on an image search so went "old style" and used a word search. Unfortunately as soon as you use the words "tripod" (or variations of that) and "adjustable" , camera tripods pop up. everywhere, usually converted into lamps. Very frustrating.
Could you post a pic of the bulb housing? It might help narrow it down to a date. Designs from different countries can sometimes have a bulb socket style of their own. Could also just be a generic socket or may have been changed out at some stage so wont be useful at all!! Just a thought.
