To hazzard a guess I would say Arne Hovmand-olsen as he has made on very similar to the one you show although without the flap.

yes im in Nottingham, Midlands
as for value. Difficult to say. Some of his other desks reach £800 - 900 in auction but as this is a version not seen before it could go for a song or be really fought over.
