Hello, I'm new to the site. I've had this chair for a few years and have spent hours and hours trying to find another with no luck. I got it from the original owner's son in Pasadena. It was purchased in Denmark along with a pair of papa bear chairs and a set of ch23 dining chairs. He said his parents bought them in '58 or '59. It is leather with an oak frame, teak arms and leg tips. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have seen one that was marked with a J.L. Møller label. Early 60s judging by the label. Never seen it in any catalogs.
edit: it was on LiveAuctioneers, but the auctioneer did not recognize the Møller label so it didn't mention the name anywhere. I can check and see if I have an old bookmark or something.
I just remember that I posted a link on another thread here on the forum:
https://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/40131232_danish-modern-lounge-chair
And that is a J.L. Møller stamp which I've only ever seen on a Møller table (model 12A, to be precise) from 1963. (I had the original receipt.) And it was also marked with the normal Møller medallion, and a Danish Furniture Control medallion. It was a surprisingly well marked piece for Møller, who wasn't so reliable about marking product early on.
