ps the chairs are very nice, too.

AP Stolen was not very good about marking pieces. And the company's ink stamps are especially prone to fading.

As with most Danish pieces, look to the details, especially the parts of the chair that the customer is not meant to see. There is where the factory most lets its own character through.

Thanks all. I've asked around among some dealers, and it seems that this particular model, the AP16 has actually never been marked. It might occasionally be stamped by the seller however.

What circumstances are these that led the AP16 never to have been marked?
