Seems correct to me based on numerous images available online. Most show similar high sideboards with bases featuring metal legs with rosewood stretchers but a few have wooden legs like yours. Models possibly from "Series G".
Unusual to see drop-down doors like those on these sideboards. Cool piece!
Hi @wesemael, thanks for your message. Really appreciate it.
Interestingly I have seen 4 or 5 exact examples of the sideboard online, all attributed to Glatzel for Fristho.
Further research required by me.

Hi @wesemael, yes, please see a couple of links below with exact examples. I'll send in some others when back online properly.

wich explains the flapping? doors and edges
or this one frame changed https://www.decenniadesign.nl/product/rudolf-glatzel-dressoir-voor-fristho/
\they do exist also with your doors But look at detail doors and these ones (almost)always labeld
Thanks for this @wesemael, really interesting. The leg design on the one I bought is very similar to the metal leg ones, including the bevelled stretcher and shape.
Looking forward to researching further.

@edmccoll this might be helpfull in your research
i think when you read it you will come to the same conclusion as me (not having seen details of your doors hinges etc)
either sideboard legs changed or highboard changed
since glatzel only made two sideboards for fristho and one higboard with drop-down doors
since they are pricy there are a lot of adjusted or 'mariage' ones in the trade here in holland/netherlands
Its pretty pristine on the underside of the the cabinet. No signs of a base being replaced. Might need to remove the current base to see further. I did notice an embossed 'L 1 7 6' on the underside but hard to get a good pic. I have attached a couple more pics of the base and the hinges.

It appears that the example illustrated in your first link above https://www.deveres.ie/art/a-fine-rosewood-sideboard/174380 shows a base identical to the one on yours. At first, I wasn't sure until I noticed they both have fluted front top rails. What are the chances that there would be two of these out there if the bases were not original? I'd have to put them at infinitesimal to none.
Also, the detail shots have me guessing that yours is earlier production based on the solid brass hinges and mahogany back or counter veneer. I mean, aligning slots on screws? That's old-world pride in craftsmanship right there!
Thanks @tktoo, really appreciated the response.
I have seen 4/5 identical examples online which made me think that they are original build. They might not be Fristho but I dont think they have been messed about with.
Interesting that you mention the hinges, that was the first thing my father in law pointed out. He's an old school carpenter and all the hinges are exactly the same alignment on the screws. Someone took care when doing that. Ive attached another hinge picture from one of the drop down doors.
I will try and get some better pictures of the base tomorrow and might even remove it to see what's going on. From my amateur eye it looks pristine underneath. No other screw marks or blemishes. It looks untouched.
Thanks again, Ive ordered the Fristho book, looking forward to finding out more about them.
