Fixed Office Chair Seating, Possibly Danish?  

A council building which is being demolished is removing 80 or so of these vinyl covered chairs and I just wondered if they looked familiar to anybody? 

The building was built in 1956 and opened in 1964, we know a lot of Danish furniture was bought for the building at the time so wondered if these chairs could be Danish?

The plate fixes into the floor and each chair swivels. I have also attached a photo of the chairs in situ from back in 1964 when the building first opened.
