Hello, I could use some assistance in identifying these chairs I recently came across. They both have 4002-58 Lot 919 stamped on the back frame. I thought they might be Lane or Stanley however the bottom support structure does not match. They do look very similar to a Finn Juhl, however there are no markings except for the information above. The wood is walnut. Thanks!

Not a Finn Juhl design, and it does look American made for sure, but I couldn't say who manufactured it.

Sorry not to be of greater assistance.

I agree on the American assessment. I have a number of Founder's furniture pieces that are pretty high quality for American pieces. They are walnut, and all marked with 4XXX-XX numbers on the back, might look there to start. My pieces were designed by Jack Cartwright.
