Have searched high and low and I am stumped !!!

Any ideas/leads regarding maker etc.

Based on color it seems likely that the solid wood parts (legs and edge banding) are Afrormosia and the top is teak veneer. This combo would rule in a few makers and rule out many.

Thank you for your observations.

I had figured out the teak and afrormosia combination myself and have looked into British and Norwegian designs with no hits so far 🙁

The handles on the pullout extensions are quite different from anything I have seen, so I thought that might make it easier to identify.... no such luck I'm afraid !
