Opportunity to purchase (what is being advertised as) an authentic DCW that was acquired as a set of 4 from a resort in the Adirondacks in Upstate NY. The story is that one of the chairs had a HM label, and the other three did not. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I know very little about Eames stuff, but I did learn a few ID tips on this site.
If a vintage chair has an internal ply tapering to zero at the spine, it is a legit HM. If I understand correctly, no knockoffs have the tapered ply. However recent production HM chairs also do not have this taper.
I would think $200 for a set of four is perfectly reasonable, seeing as you could probably sell them for more as parts.
