Hello,

I just bought a DAR, and I'm not able to identify the period of production. There is no label under the seat. If anyone can help, it will be very appreciate.

Regards.

This is when we most miss the formerly active member here, "Eameshead". Not only for his extensive knowledge of all things related to Eames fiberglass, but also for his easygoing sense of fun and generous demeanor. Wherever you've gone, EH, I thank you and wish you only the best.

That said, have you tried searching the forum archive? There have been many informative threads discussing similar questions here in past years. To my eye, your chair appears to be a nice early example and in great condition.

It is in wonderful condition! Usually the chairs that are unmarked will be one of two generations. If you look on the underside edge of the chair, there will be a roped edge if it

Is "great" wonderful, or is "wonderful" great?

My writing skills are lacking and I know it.

Chopped liver ...again!

Is it dry in here or is it just me?

Off to the nearest bridge of adequate altitude.

Happy Holidays!
