These rosewood frames were purchased in Denmark, do you know the designer?  Thanks!

Looks very much like a model Preben Fabricius designed for Skalma. See link and picture. But alas, it's not the same. Nevertheless I assume that the chair in question must have been designed around 1960. Your exact model is sometimes attributed to Kai Kristiansen - for instance here - , but I cannot confirm that at the moment.

Looks more like these Skive chairs to me, though all online are teak.  One listing attributes to Kai Kristiansen but most say designer unknown.

@mark737. I think you may have nailed it !!! It is hard to tell from the OP's pics, but her chairs appear to have been stained.

Yeah. Skive is correct.

Skive is new to me, so, THANK YOU all for the education. These are definitely rosewood, the grain is beautiful. I'll follow up with photos once they are restored. Again, huge thanks!!!!   Have a great day.     Lindsey in Vancouver, Canada.

The links I postet earlier shows two of these chairs in rosewood, and it is not unusual at all that companies made a large quantity of their furniture in teak and a small quantity in rosewood. So: nice chairs you have!
