Hi!
I found these Danish teak dining chairs on the sidewalk (am very lucky), and I’m reupholstering them in the zigzag fabric. Confirmed they’re authentic when I took them apart and found the stamp (pictured), but no info on the manufacturer. Someone suggested Anderstrup Møbelfabrik, and I did a deep dive - looks like they could be an Eric Buch/Buck design. Haven’t found an exact match yet.
Any thoughts?
Anderstrup also did come to my mind. But don't know for sure. It's a rather generic Danish chair design from the 60s or 70s. You might or might not find the maker but I don't think that there's a known designer to it.
"People buy a chair, and they don't really care who designed it." (Arne Jacobsen)
The Anderstrup version (first photo) is slightly different - different stiles and stretchers. I did not see any other examples of d101's chairs, but did come across a couple of others similar to Buch's model 49.
The chair in the second photo is by Farsø Stolefabrik and attributed by some sellers to P. E. Jorgensen.
The chair in the third photo came up a number of times but none I saw identified a maker. I recently bought a pair of these with upholstered backs at a thrift shop and initially thought they were D-Scan, but they are slightly different, so it appears to be another, as yet unidentified, maker. Maybe someone here knows them.
