I am very grateful for any help. If you could please help me with any of the following: I am looking for the manufacturer information, verify if this is a Nanny Ditzel ND83 Lounge Chair as the only marking is an import Selig label. Any direction you could point me to on google, or answer. Thank you

I am looking at a thread on this forum posted by tchp on November 20, 2012 under the general discussion section. The title of the thread is Poul jensen end/coffee tables. Post #6 has an image from a Selig Danish Collection Catalog (2nd photo) described as a Nanna and Jorgen Ditzel "Barrel Chair" width 30" depth 27" height 27". Although a different color upholstery, it looks the same. Thank you for your time, any further information you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Nicely upholstered. Is that Tonus by Kvadrat?

I don't think it's Tonus. It's got two colors in the weave, however subtle; Tonus was only made in solid colors until very recently. They added something called "Tonus Meadow" a year or two ago but it doesn't come in this color and the heathered look isn't quite like this. This looks like old upholstery (see the faint discoloration at the front edge of the seat) and it also looks smoother to me here:

I wish vintage upholstery fabrics were better documented! Knoll fabrics are, and the Danish wools that are still in production are, but so many others are lost to the ages.
