More photos? "Inwardly splayed back legs" makes me think of Kai Christensen but that's only a vague hunch. A full front view and a full side view plus one of the underside of the seat would help. Hold the camera at the midpoint of the the chair, which means you must crouch down instead of standing at full height.

Really hard to tell from the bit you postet. Could be Kai Kristiansen for Korup, could be Kai Kristiansen T21, could also be a dining chair from SAX (saxkj

Any ideas about the burl wood? Might it be walnut? Or would it be a quartersawn teak?
