Hoping someone can help ID this arm chair, the cushion looks odd, like someone tried to update it by adding more cushion, cushion proportions are off with chair, also looks as if someone may have stained it to look like rosewood, but may be teak. Based on a very superficial diagnostic, thought it looked similar Jens Risom or Peter Hvid. any insight would be much appreciated, Thank you

Most closely resembles a Gio Ponti for Singer and Sons chair but there are obvious differences

Gio Ponti would be dreamy, will research further. I believe the reupholster tried to alter the design, don't know how far the tinkering went, I'm dumbfounded by the extent people will go to hide / distort a masterful design and natural beauty of fine a wood species. Thank you
