I did some searching, but didn't spend a lot of time, because I assume if @lexi couldn't find it, my chances were pretty slim. With such an unusual design, an image search should return some hits, if there were a fair number produced.  So, probably very low production and limited distribution. 

@tktoo;@mark737. Thank you for your comments ! What is annoying me is that I have seen this coffee table before, somewhere ,sometime. My memory must be failing !!
