Hi

Does anyone recognize this chair, could use some help with ID. Thought Scandinavian, perhaps Westnofa. The back swivels, think the wood is a combo of woods, I think beech and a few darker layers in between possible teak. I would appreciate any thoughts on it to point me in right direction, even if you think it's just an ugly office chair of no interesting origin. thanks.

My thoughts would be to remove the words "Finn Juhl" from the post title.

The darker inner plies are interesting. Don't think I've come across that before. I'm not sure if I quite get the sequencing and spacing with the blond layers.

Not that I think they are related, but I thought I'd post a photo of the leg/seat interface of the Hvidt/Molgaard-Nielsen AX chair, where the mahogany core of the leg becomes a feature design element.
