I have a pair of bedroom lamps that were my mothers. They are porcelain like with gold bands, and pink roses on them. I have had them for 50 years. I think they must have their original shades.
The only mark on them is a sticker that says: Underwriters Laboratories, Inc , tested portable lamp, Issue # 45,439. Is there a way to tell their age and their maker? I would love to know more about these.
Aunt Mark,
Well my mom has been dead for 30 years and I have not picture. These are my lamps now and was hoping that by the UL # I could find out something about them, who made them or how old they could be. They are in perfect condition.
And yes, that is a cuckoo clock, and it was hers too. She brought it back from Germany many, many years ago.
