beautiful Floating top round wood coffee table  

I bought this on Criagslist from a guy that buys and refinishes a lot of mid century furniture. He said he was never able to find out who the designer was and sold it to me at a reasonable price. He is now calling me and really wants it back and is willing to trade me another peice of furnuture for it. I'm curious if he found out that it's worth a lot more than he sold it for or if he just decided that he wants it back. Very weird situation. Can you guys identify the table? I'll take some better photos of it when I get home.
