so i came across a free chair that ,at first glance, just looked like the ever popular IKEA Poang chair....but on second look i noticed there were quite a lot of differences....1: it doesnt have the lower-rear cross beam...2: the angles of the bentwood are totally different as is the seat design....3:its a good amount wider at the seat{not curved and rests on front cross beam}.....it looks like a bastard cross between an Aalto 401 and the Poang chair..i know its not a 401 because it has visible bolts and the front "legs" of the chair arent bowed, theyre straight..any thoughts on this? any good references for bentwood loungers? .....i took off the seat because its kinda nasty, and i worry about bed bugs...but its molded foam around a steel tube frame with "zig-zag" springs....

oooh nooo....
i was trying to retire on this chair....i mean i have sooo much invested in it, say it aint so virtue!!!...i just dont know what to dooo....thanks for the info, but you can keep your attitude. it is definitely older than a "few years"....seems more 70's-80's to me, especially considering the point of deterioration of the upholstery/foam....
p.s.- is it worthless if i can rest my backside in it?
