I see a lot of design getting the wrong attribution, in most of the cases in favor of reaching higher prices, other times just because people don't know.
I bought this rocking chair just the other day and knew it's often refered to as a Tapiovaara piece.
I don't think it is, when looking at the legs, although the solid pine sitting hints to him.
This model comes up all over Europe and the States, so it's not a local copy or interpretation. I would like to know who designed this and for wich factory, or by wich brand it was imported/sold.
Does anyone have the same chair?

Thanks!
BJ

Hi
I think it's Tapiovaara, but don't have any "proof".
I have a similar rocker, with some differences, that is also Tapiovaara.

I found it!
It was produced by Nässjö Stolfabrik AB/Nesto, and the model was called BOHEM 2402.
