This was sold to me as Arne Bang. What do you think?

I'm not an expert on Arne Bang pottery, but I would guess it's far more likely that it was made by someone whose initials happen to be AB, too. The shape of the pitcher, the way the glaze was done, the combed marks that have no relation to the pitcher shape at all, and the way the handle is attached at the bottom are all major clues. And then there's the mark itself--incised on the side rather than on the bottom, and very angular with a separate stroke for each part of the B.

That's what I see, anyway. I could be wrong.

Yes, that is what I thought too. Just hoping someone would prove that wrong!
