The chairs were designed by Paolo...
The chairs were designed by Paolo Piva in the early 80s, I think, and B&B produced them through the 80s and into the early 90s. I can't remember the name of the chair, but it might have been "Alanda"; I know that Piva produced a sofa and coffee table of the same name around the same time (link below). I think the dining chair came in a low-backed version too.
