@fredhh I don’t know. It seems that the design went through a couple changes over time. You find different measurements, different positions of the stretchers, different edge banding, different shapes of legs and leg joints. What I didn’t find in a quick search are the visible dowels attaching the stretcher in your example. I tend to believe that this is just a late 60s or early 70s production but I can’t be sure. The table seems to be reasonably well made.

I'm pretty sure it's a knockoff. I've owned a CFC Smile for about 10 years now. I don't believe CFC ever made a low stretcher version. The feet profile and magazine shelf curvature also look wrong. And the wood plugs are definitely wrong. Fairly good knockoffs have been out there for a while without wood plugs, so I don't know why they are popping up now.
The seller also offers the table on Ebay.
I wrote to him asking for an opinion, but no reply by now.
