I do not think this is the real deal; Sorry.
There have been many threads in the past , on the old forum, relating to the same table; ( I used the search function but cannot find the relevant ones as they are from a few years back)
Have attached two images of genuine table. You should be able to see the main differences ie; single metal frame and glass sits on top. Secondly the "feet " on the legs.

No Sorry, thanks for participating 🙂
I have looked up for more info online but it is really difficult to find official information.
I have been told that there were different versions in the past: these seller, for example, was selling a table similar to this as an original one ( I called them).

Also this One...
Is there any historical reference to understand which models have been produced in the past?
You could try contacting B&B Italia. They relaunched the Alanda table to commemorate the death of Paolo Piva last year.

Thanks for sharing this.
I know they re-launched the table but it is slightly different.
I am trying to look for some "design" or "architecture" book of that age to see if I can discover more: but it's really hard to find something useful.
I will update you in case I find out something relevant 🙂
I'm researching this question as well and have found numerous examples from auctions (both in Europe and US) that show different styles with various dimensions with almost all labeled as Piva for B&B. I know many sellers misattribute pieces , but does anyone know if B&B made a variety of versions back in the 80's?
Or does anyone know who made the knockoffs? I see only France & Son makes a current replica but it looks nothing like these others.
I saw this example listed on Vinterior as a Dutch table in the manner of Piva.
I saw another sold version on 1stDibs that also said it was from the Netherlands. Does anyone have an idea on what Dutch company might have made these versions? Thanks
I went ahead and bought the one I was looking at. I assume it's a replica but the price was right. Here are a few shots. It looks similar to the one you posted but not identical (for example, no small circle in middle on top of frame. The dimensions are 34.75" square by 13.75" high (88cm and 35cm). The glass has rounded corners and sits inside the frame, not on top.
